The BTC22 offers an Intel® Atom processor supporting Honeywell’s Experion PKS operator workstation setup. The DisplayPort interfaces support up to two modern Ultra HD (4K) setups with 60 Hz.

Pepperl+Fuchs has recently introduced the customized VisuNet FLX-Edge with the Honeywell custom IGEL OS BTC22 inside. The FLX-Edge is a purged solution using:

• 7500 Series purge and pressurization system for ATEX/IECEx Zone 2/22 and ETL Class I/II, Division 2
• 6000 Series purge and pressurization system for ATEX/IECEx Zone 1/21 and ETL Class I, Division 1

This allows Honeywell to support a single BTC platform (BTC22) as a standalone unit or as part of the FLX-Edge for industrial monitor applications in hazardous locations.
