The Android-based tablet Tab-Ex® 02 for explosion-hazardous areas offers the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries new customer-oriented mobile solutions for location-independent access to company data. Compact, lightweight, and certified for Zones 1/21 and 2/22, as well as Div. 1 and Div. 2, this tablet supports the “Mobile Worker” in handling various tasks and applications (asset surveys, material tracking, operator rounds, inspection and maintenance).

The new Searchzone Sonik acoustic gas leak detector complements Honeywell’s established portfolio of gas detection devices, adding ultrasonic technology to a reliable mix of point and open-path gas detectors. Thanks to its robust sealed solid-state sensor that doesn’t need calibration and can withstand the harshest weather conditions, the Searchzone Sonik delivers reliable gas leak detection, even in the noisiest environments, prevents false alarms, and reduces the cost of ownership.

OELD is a smart junction box for either a Searchpoint Optima Plus or Searchline Excel gas detector. In addition to serving as a 4…20 mA communications bridge between the detector and the controller, the gas sensor junction box includes an LCD screen for gas concentration and other information, as well as a traffic-light indicator for at-a-glance safety status—all in a robust metal housing and with a wide range of approvals. OELD includes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology that simplifies your experience with the detector. With BLE, you can pair the OELD with a mobile phone and then use an app to perform many commissioning and maintenance tasks on the detector with less time and effort. And since the BLE method is non-intrusive, it also reduces safety risk.

Honeywell BW Solo is an easy to service single-gas detector with BLE connectivity that provides real-time visibility into the status and safety of hazardous area workers, helping companies respond faster, more knowingly and decisively to safety incidents.

The Honeywell BW Ultra is a five-gas detector from Honeywell that is designed specifically for sampling and monitoring confined spaces, before and after entry. It benefits from unmatched sensor technology, visibility on gas readings, comfort, and connectivityeven in most extreme working conditions. The Honeywell BW Ultra simultaneously detects the four gases you’re required to monitor in confined spaces. Plus there is a fifth sensor for the gas of your choice. This way you can add a fifth level of protection for your confined-space entries.

The Honeywell Safety Communicator app enables a smartphone to serve as a personal information and communication hub for industrial workers. Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, it sends data from a personal safety device using a Wi-Fi or publicly available cellular network to ProRAE Guardian Wireless Safety System for remote monitoring.

The Honeywell MicroRAE app duplicates the experience of operating a MicroRAE handheld gas monitor. It comes with an interactive tutorial, which simulates navigation through the MicroRAE user interface via the same buttons and display as an actual instrument. The Honeywell MultiRAE Pro app duplicates the experience of operating a MultiRAE Pro handheld gas monitor. It comes with an interactive tutorial, which simulates navigation through the MultiRAE Pro user interface via the same buttons and display as an actual instrument. By default, the app shows normal readings for configured sensors.

This mobile app for the new Searchzone Sonik acoustic gas leak detector is running on a hazardous area Bluetooth device. It delivers remote access for set-up, interrogation and maintenance from the ground—no need to work at height.

The Honeywell OELD app allows you to use your smart device to configure and maintain the Honeywell OELD smart junction box, the Searchpoint Optima Plus point infrared gas detector and the Searchline Excel connected to it. Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication, this app provides an intuitive interface which can be used for a wide variety of commissioning and maintenance tasks without having to physically connect to the gas detector.
